Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Pettis connects with an inside leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pettis .
Pettis avoids the head kick by Carter.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pettis . Carter shrugs it off though.

Carter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pettis is looking to stand up but Carter isn't so interested in that idea.

That was a close round but I would say that Anthony Pettis will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Aaron Carter.
