The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lakopa connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lakopa misses with a double jab.
Some wild striking there from Lakopa.
Lakopa just misses with a punch to the body.
Junior changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lakopa tries to avoid it but Junior manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lakopa to the ground. Lakopa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lakopa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A punch combination from Lakopa misses.
Lakopa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Junior manages to avoid it.
Sloppy strikes from Lakopa. Those never looked like landing.
Lakopa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Junior closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lakopa circles away.
Filipo Lakopa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Onder Junior.
Junior tries to clinch up but Lakopa circles away and keeps his distance.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Junior has eaten all the pies!

Lakopa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Lakopa counters with a nice right hand that sends Junior toppling to the canvas! Junior scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lakopa finish him?!

Filipo Lakopa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lakopa cracks Junior with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Junior tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lakopa pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Junior is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
