Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Filip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Roger Simmons has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Roger Simmons seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Filip looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Filip.
Filip tries to score a power double leg takedown but Simmons sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Filip somewhat.
Filip shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Simmons as he jumps to the side.
Roger Simmons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Filip.
Simmons connects with a body shot that sends Filip's belly button to the back.
Filip looks winded!

It looks like Michael Filip has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Simmons lands an impressive looking overhand right. Filip doesn't seem phased though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Simmons drops Filip with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Filip looks back up at him and smiles so Simmons waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Filip is rocked!
Simmons throws a shot to the body.
Filip is still on wobbly legs! Can Simmons finish him?
Simmons connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Filip out cold! This one is over in a flash!
