Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Georfrei Jenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bailey Vaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Georfrei Jenson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jenson as he avoids it easily.
Vaughan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Jenson shoots in and bounces Vaughan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Jenson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vaughan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jenson has managed to get both his arms back between Vaughan's legs - danger averted.
Jenson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vaughan on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vaughan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vaughan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jenson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Vaughan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jenson to the mat. Jenson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vaughan is stalling in the full guard.
Vaughan is looking to work some ground and pound but Jenson has wrist control.

Vaughan gets to his feet. Jenson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Jenson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jenson shoots in but Vaughan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Horrible takedown by Jenson or perhaps it was just good defense by Vaughan which made him look bad.

Vaughan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
