PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Kutts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kutts is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Save Me from Shinedown. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kutts.
Kutts closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hitman circles away.
Hitman throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hitman takes a swing at Kutts's ribcage but misses.
Hitman throws a lazy uppercut

and Kutts counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kutts using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hitman has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big left from Hitman misses.
Kutts tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hitman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kutts dives in and grabs Hitman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hitman pushes down on Kutts's head and hops out.

Kutts shoots in but Hitman avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hitman drops Kutts with a left and a right! Oh, Kutts is hurt - Hitman dives into side control looking to finish!

Kutts is rocked!

Hitman tries to stand but Kutts is controlling his head.
Kutts is still in real trouble! Can Hitman finish him?
Kutts sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Hitman tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Kutts.
Kutts seems to have recovered his senses.
Kutts is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kutts is pressing down on Hitman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hitman is looking to stand up but Kutts won't let him.
Hitman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kutts on the ground.

Kutts get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Kutts stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Hitman runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

A less than humble Xavier Hitman misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
