PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Earl Sweatpants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Matsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sweatpants comes to the cage accompanied by Earl - Earl Sweatshirt. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eddy Matsui was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddy Matsui!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsui loads up on a big right hand but Sweatpants slips the punch.
Matsui connects with a body shot.
Sweatpants throws an off balance right hand

and Matsui decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sweatpants's guard.
Sweatpants keeping moving, preventing Matsui from controlling successfully.

Matsui trying to control but Sweatpants is working from the bottom.

Sweatpants will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Matsui is trying to work for a kimura but Sweatpants is defending well.

Matsui thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Matsui passes to side control.
Matsui scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sweatpants to see if he's OK.

Matsui postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
