The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohammad throws a right hand that Weeonu ducks under and follows up with a left that Weeonu also avoids with ease.
Weeonu misses with a hook
and Mohammad counters with a leg kick.
Weeonu looks to land a combination. Mohammad sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Weeonu lands a nice hook to Mohammad's body. Mohammad takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mohammad dodges the punch combination from Weeonu.
Mohammad moves out of range of the strikes.
Weeonu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A decent looking cross lands there for Mohammad.
Weeonu has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mohammad finds it's way round the side to connect with Weeonu's head.
Weeonu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Weeonu takes a swing at Mohammad's ribcage but misses.
Mohammad avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Weeonu misses with a few strikes there.
The fighters circling - Weeonu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Weeonu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mohammad avoids the head kick by Weeonu.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mohammad, as that shot connected.
Mohammad scores with the left hand. Weeonu knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mohammad.
Danga de danga de dang - Weeonu scores with a four punch combination!
A jab from Weeonu misses.
Good standup being displayed there by Mohammad as he connects with a hook.

Weeonu moves out of range as Mohammad strikes.
Shekan Weeonu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mohammad lands with a kick to the ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Weeonu misses with a looping left.
Mohammad changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Weeonu connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Weeonu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mohammad jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nice straight punches there by Weeonu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Weeonu.
Mohammad connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Weeonu momentarily.
Weeonu is rocked!
Mohammad circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Weeonu tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Mohammad wins by KO!
