Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Corke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Foley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alan Corke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Larry Foley!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Good standup being displayed there by Foley as he connects with a hook.


It looks like Alan Corke has been cut.
Foley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Corke counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Foley misses with the combination.
Foley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Corke cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Corke uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Foley.
No joy there for Foley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Foley throws a lazy right hand but Corke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Foley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Foley throws a good cross that connects.
Foley scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Corke doesn't seem bothered though.
Foley throws a series of punches but Corke avoids them all with ease.
Foley lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Corke backs up against the cage.
Foley falls off balance throwing a combination
and Corke counters with a straight right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A left lands for Foley.


Corke is rocked!


Alan Corke's cut is getting worse.
Foley throws a right hand that Corke ducks under and follows up with a left that Corke also avoids with ease.
Foley misses with a looping right.
Foley loads up on a big right hand but Corke slips the punch.
Foley misses with a double jab
and Corke counters with a straight right hand.
Foley swinging wildly here.
Foley scores with a three punch combo!
Oh Corke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Foley lands with a big right hook that stumbles Corke - he's out on his feet here! Foley follows up with another monster hook that separates Corke from consciousness! Corke falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Foley stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Larry Foley!
Larry Foley gave a mention to Blood Bank ($10) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
