Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Matice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Naza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Naza misses
and Matice counters with a straight right hand.
Matice keeps the fight on the outside.
Matice waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Naza.

Matice closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Naza to the mat! Naza manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Matice trying to control but Naza is working from the bottom.
Matice is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Matice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Naza swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Matice trying to control the position from guard on top but Naza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Raymond Matice wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Naza throws a right and a left that both miss.
Naza tries a head kick but it misses.
Naza scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Naza. Matice does a little dance to reset his feet.
Naza wants to clinch up but Matice keeps it at a distance.
Naza throws a good cross that connects.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Matice.
Matice swats away the attempt to clinch by Naza.
Matice tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Naza swivels and escapes.

Naza thows a body shot but no joy.

Naza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Matice throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Felipe Naza has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matice tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Naza swivels and escapes.

Naza moves out of range of the strikes.
Matice uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Naza.

Matice tries to free his leg and advance position but Naza is retaining full guard.

Naza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Matice's guard.

Matice has his foot on Naza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Naza works his way back into a safe position though.

Naza throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Matice works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Naza trying to control the position from guard on top but Matice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Naza wants to stand but Matice is controlling his posture from full guard.

Matice tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Matice is on top in guard.
Matice works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Matice is working for a submission of some sort.
Matice trying to pass the guard but Naza defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Naza catches Matice with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Naza leaves Matice with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Naza lands a nice looking body shot.
Naza scores with a hook to the body. Matice takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Matice's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Naza connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Matice scrambles back to his feet.
Matice is trying hard to land a takedown here. Naza sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Naza swings for the body but Matice moves out of range.
Matice takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Naza's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Naza duly obliges.
