Rogers is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Am A Real American. Steve Rogers has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Matt Miller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Steve Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller shoots for a double leg takedown but Rogers sprawls well. He's pushed Miller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Miller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rogers is fending him off so far but Miller persists. Nope, Rogers circles away and we're back to standing.
Miller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogers tries to avoid it but Miller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogers to the ground. Rogers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rogers lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Miller stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rogers.

Rogers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rogers rushes Miller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Rogers is pulling down on Miller's head. It's preventing any offense from Miller, at least for the moment.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rogers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rogers wants to stand and escape but Miller is having none of it.

Miller throws an elbow that misses. Rogers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Miller's guard. Nice move by Rogers!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Miller wants to control from the top but Rogers keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Matt Miller just wasn't active enough.

Miller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rogers but Rogers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Nice sprawl there from Rogers as Miller shoots in.
Rogers closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rogers misses with a wild body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rogers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rogers goes for a small jab and connects. Now Rogers goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Miller stumbles back but Rogers runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Miller to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Miller will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Steve Rogers!
