The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lanjinfa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bondaruk but Bondaruk pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bondaruk darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lanjinfa won't allow Bondaruk to pass to mount.
Lanjinfa wants to improve his position but Bondaruk is controlling well.
Bondaruk seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Tomasz Bondaruk has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Bondaruk misses with a body shot.
Lanjinfa looks for a takedown but Bondaruk sprawls well.
Bondaruk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lanjinfa manages to avoid it.
Lanjinfa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bondaruk tries to avoid it but Lanjinfa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bondaruk to the ground. Bondaruk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tomasz Bondaruk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scotty Lanjinfa.

Bondaruk shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lanjinfa napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lanjinfa stalks Bondaruk and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bondaruk's face. Bondaruk staggers backwards, shaken.

Bondaruk moves into the clinch successfully.
Lanjinfa is trying to pull guard but Bondaruk turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Bondaruk's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Bondaruk gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Lanjinfa is working an open guard so Bondaruk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lanjinfa throws a series of strikes that have Bondaruk backpedaling.
Lanjinfa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bondaruk defends it nicely.
Lanjinfa connects with a right hand. Bondaruk shakes it off.

Lanjinfa instigates a clinch.

Bondaruk decides to pull guard.

Lanjinfa is trying to get back to his feet but Bondaruk has full control of the position and if anything, Lanjinfa has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Bondaruk is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Lanjinfa won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Bondaruk off his unconscious opponent!
