Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Keyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Trevis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keyes's entrance music is Hollywood Undead - Dead Bite. A fine choice. Ryan Keyes had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Keyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mario Trevis!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trevis misses with a body kick.
Keyes looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Trevis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Keyes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Keyes with a hook.
Mario Trevis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keyes is looking to slow Trevis down with leg kicks.
Trevis shoots in looking for a takedown but Keyes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trevis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A right-left combo lands from Keyes.
Trevis walks into a straight right hand from Keyes.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trevis.
Trevis tries to clinch there but Keyes circles away.
A cross from Keyes lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Trevis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trevis wants to take the fight to the mat but Keyes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Ryan Keyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Trevis.
Keyes fails to pull guard.
Keyes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Trevis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Keyes walks away with a smile on his face. Trevis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nice sprawl there from Keyes as Trevis shoots in.
Keyes scores with a punch to the head.
Keyes is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Trevis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Keyes is not content to let Trevis control the position.
Keyes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Trevis off and has taken his back!
Trevis looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Trevis has eaten all the pies!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Trevis manages to reverse the position and now he's in Keyes's guard. Nice work there by Trevis.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Trevis stands up from Keyes's guard - Trevis perhaps looking for a knockout.
Trevis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Keyes throws a right and a left that both miss.
Good work by Trevis as he checks the leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Trevis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Keyes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trevis tries to avoid it but Keyes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trevis to the ground. Trevis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Keyes is breathing heavily.
Keyes stuffs the takedown attempt from Trevis. Trevis gets slowly back to his feet.
Trevis throws a lazy head kick
and Keyes counters with a straight right hand.


Trevis is rocked!
A head kick by Keyes - that's a beauty! Trevis is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Keyes can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ryan Keyes!
Ryan Keyes decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
