Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chip Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Douglas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Atmos - One you need. Cain is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: A Warrior's Call. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Douglas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cain to the mat! Cain manages to get full guard.
Douglas has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cain is proving hard to escape from.
Cain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Douglas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Douglas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cain is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Douglas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Douglas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cain manages to get himself to full guard.

Douglas postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cain is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Douglas, into his guard.
