The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samuilov shoots in and drives through. Andromov sprawls well.
Andromov lands a lovely overhand right.
Samuilov looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Samuilov lands a couple of elbows.
Andromov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Andromov tries to get out of the position.
Andromov wants to stand and escape but Samuilov is having none of it.
Samuilov trying to control but Andromov is working from the bottom.
Andromov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Samuilov on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Andromov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Samuilov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Andromov is keeping the position for now.
Andromov is looking to stand up but Samuilov isn't so interested in that idea.
Samuilov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Andromov's guard.
Samuilov is trying to control. Andromov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Samuilov wants to pass to mount but Andromov is defending the position.
Samuilov stops Andromov from getting back to his feet.
Samuilov wants to free his trapped foot but Andromov is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Andromov pushes Samuilov off looking to stand but Samuilov dives back in and keeps control.
Andromov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Samuilov keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Samuilov stops Andromov from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A combination from Andromov does no damage.
Andromov works the jab nicely.
No joy there for Andromov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Samuilov rushes Andromov and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Andromov breaks the clinch.
Samuilov dives in and grabs Andromov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Andromov pushes down on Samuilov's head and hops out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Samuilov shoots in for a takedown but Andromov shows good takedown defense.
Alchuk Andromov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Samuilov.
Andromov throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Samuilov colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Andromov as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Samuilov is left battered and dazed whilst Andromov and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alchuk Andromov!
