The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funtov tries for a takedown but Seven sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Funtov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Seven but Seven pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Funtov gets a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seven is looking to escape.
Funtov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Funtov tries to pass to full mount but Seven defends it.
Funtov missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Funtov sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Seven defending well though.
Seven is staying active underneath Funtov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Funtov throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Seven because Funtov loaded up on that one.
Seven tries to buck Funtov off but he can't manage it.
Funtov connects with a bit shot that sees Seven covering up! More strikes from Funtov and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Funtov is our winner by TKO!
