Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Cyborg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Violator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cyborg comes to the cage accompanied by Lose Yourself. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Violator dives in and grabs Cyborg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cyborg pushes down on Violator's head and hops out.
Cyborg shoots in and bounces Violator off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Violator looking for a sweep. Not yet Violator, not yet.
Cyborg postures up in Violator's guard and throws a big left but Violator blocks it.
Cyborg in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cyborg accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cyborg postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Violator looking for a sweep. Not yet Violator, not yet.
Cyborg working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Violator has his foot on Cyborg's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cyborg works his way back into a safe position though.
Cyborg connects with a couple of short punches.
Violator has momentary wrist control but Cyborg slips an elbow through the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cyborg trying to control the position from guard on top but Violator is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Violator working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cyborg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cyborg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Violator wants to sweep here but Cyborg controlling him for the moment.

Cyborg is looking to work some ground and pound but Violator has wrist control.

Cyborg with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Violator is trying to keep Cyborg in close.
Cyborg cracks Violator with a solid left hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cyborg is working Violator over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Cyborg lands a couple of digs.
Violator looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cyborg is defending well. Violator quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cyborg has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Violator celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Danny Violator!
