Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Zanotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spartacus Gladiator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zanotto comes to the cage accompanied by Ben Zanotto -by- Rancid. Ben Zanotto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Zanotto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spartacus Gladiator!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zanotto throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Spartacus Gladiator has been cut.
Gladiator avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gladiator closes the distance and clinches up with Zanotto, looking for a takedown. Gladiator pushes Zanotto against the cage but Zanotto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zanotto is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Gladiator changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zanotto tries to avoid it but Gladiator manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zanotto to the ground. Zanotto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gladiator tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gladiator on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zanotto shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zanotto showed some decent athleticism there.
Gladiator is rocked!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Zanotto working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Gladiator is still in real trouble! Can Zanotto finish him?
Zanotto lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Gladiator quite badly. Gladiator pulls Zanotto in close trying to recover. Zanotto postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Gladiator on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Gladiator doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Zanotto!
