Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rick Rude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Brown!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown doesn't manage to clinch there - Rude circles away.

Brown scores a takedown into full mount!
Brown moves to take his opponent's back.

Brown has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Rude has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Brown decides to stand back up. Brown steps back and let's Rude get back to his feet.

Rude feints and then cracks Brown's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brown down.
Brown tries to clinch up but Rude circles away and keeps his distance.

Brown shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Brown was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Brown stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Brown bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Brown decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rude to his feet.
Rude connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Brown to the floor! Rude dives in looking for the finish!

It looks like John Brown has been cut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rude decides to stand up.

Rude rushes Brown and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Brown can't find room to land a body shot as Rude controls the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown drops his hands momentarily and Rude takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Brown shoots in but Rude avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rude throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brown stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Brown throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Rude stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Brown follows into mount!

Rude is rocked!

It looks like Rick Rude has been cut.
Rude has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Oh Rude is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Brown has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Rude seems to have got his legs back now.
Rude is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
John Brown has got the better of the ground game so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rude is keeping busy.
