Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killer Killerston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killerston has chosen One of a Kind by Breaking Point as his entrance music. The key to victory for BJ Penn has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, BJ Penn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Killer Killerston!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Killerston. Penn does a little dance to reset his feet.

Penn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Killerston to the mat! Killerston manages to get full guard.
Penn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Penn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Penn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Penn is nestled in close to Killerston, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Penn escapes and gets back to his feet.
Penn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Killerston's waist but Killerston gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Penn off to one side.

Killerston leaves Penn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Killerston shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Penn pinned against the cage. Penn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Penn throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Killerston was covering up waiting for the punch and Penn finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A very excited looking BJ Penn rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
