PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antti Atleetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gomer Pyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atleetti kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Beyonce - Halo. Pyle has chosen The Marines' Hymn as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gomer Pyle has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Antti Atleetti's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gomer Pyle!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Atleetti bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well, if Atleetti is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pyle might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Atleetti kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Atleetti throws the left hand but Pyle avoids the punch easily.

Atleetti closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pyle's guard.
