The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Einemo stuffs the takedown.
Einemo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Rodriguez rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Einemo counters with a solid body kick.
Rodriguez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Einemo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rodriguez.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rodriguez lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Einemo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Einemo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Einemo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rodriguez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Einemo lands a slapping body shot.
Rodriguez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Einemo pinned against the cage. Einemo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A low kick from Rodriguez misses
and Einemo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rodriguez shoots in and drives through. Einemo sprawls well.
Arild Einemo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Rodriguez.

Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Einemo as he jumps to the side.

Einemo moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rodriguez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Einemo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Einemo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Einemo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Einemo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rodriguez misses with a leg kick
and Einemo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rodriguez's knee momentarily.

Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Einemo but Einemo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rodriguez on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Einemo is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Rodriguez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rodriguez drops his hands momentarily and Einemo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Einemo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rodriguez takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rodriguez closes the distance and clinches up with Einemo, looking for a takedown. Rodriguez pushes Einemo against the cage but Einemo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Einemo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Einemo lands a big head kick that sends Rodriguez tumbling to the mat! Einemo takes a step backwards and waves Rodriguez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Einemo lands a brutal head kick. Rodriguez looks out on his feet and Einemo throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
