Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Vadokowich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny LaRusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vadokowich comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Enter Sandman. LaRusso is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: You're The Best!. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnny LaRusso was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vadokowich moves out of range of the body kick from LaRusso.
LaRusso drops his hands momentarily and Vadokowich takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
LaRusso misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
LaRusso scores with a jab to the body.
LaRusso cracks a nice hook into Vadokowich's ribs.
Vadokowich looks to land a combination but LaRusso avoids it well.
LaRusso jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Vadokowich bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The fighters circle momentarily. LaRusso darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
LaRusso on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Vadokowich ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Vadokowich scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Vadokowich throws an overhand right that lands on LaRusso's shoulder, as LaRusso tries to avoid the shot.
LaRusso misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vadokowich looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Vadokowich scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Vadokowich chopping away at his opponent's legs.
LaRusso connects with a body shot.

LaRusso throws a leg kick but Vadokowich sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Vadokowich is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
LaRusso throws a jab when Vadokowich was well out of range.
LaRusso bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
LaRusso throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vadokowich lands a jab.
LaRusso throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
LaRusso fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Crunch! Vadokowich slams his shin into LaRusso's torso.
Vadokowich looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
LaRusso takes a head kick and keeps coming.
LaRusso is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Vadokowich rather than just go for the knockout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
LaRusso throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Vadokowich ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Vadokowich scores with a nice body kick.

LaRusso dodges the punch combination from Vadokowich.
LaRusso misses with the body kick
and LaRusso takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Vadokowich circles away from the clinch attempt
and Vadokowich counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Vadokowich throws the kick towards the body but LaRusso avoids it.
LaRusso uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vadokowich.
Vadokowich throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends LaRusso stumbling backwards into the cage! LaRusso bounces back off the cage towards Vadokowich, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Vadokowich lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Vadokowich celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vadim Vadokowich!
Vadim Vadokowich really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hellraiser Fightgear ($10 and above) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
