Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Krum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trip Otto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Viktor Krum has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viktor Krum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trip Otto!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krum fails with an attempt to clinch.
Otto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Krum defends it nicely.
Krum displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Otto.
Krum misses with a few strikes there.
Otto should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Viktor Krum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trip Otto.

Otto fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Krum to the ground. Otto is now in Krum's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Otto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krum swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Krum is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Otto is trying to control but can't.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Otto can do anything to dispel that myth.

Otto slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Otto controls Krum momentarily but Krum frees himself.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Otto has eaten all the pies!

Krum is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Otto pulls Krum in close to prevent any damage.
Otto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Krum will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Viktor Krum.

Krum gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Otto to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Krum utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Otto postures up in Krum's guard and throws a big left but Krum blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trip Otto dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Krum tries to clinch but Otto is having none of it.
A slow jab from Krum misses its intended target.
Krum throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Krum tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Otto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Otto fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Krum sprawls well initially but Otto persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Otto throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Krum to regain full guard.

Krum keeping moving, preventing Otto from controlling successfully.
Otto keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Krum's head.
Otto postures up.
Otto wants to pass the guard but Krum is keeping the position.
Otto lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Krum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Otto's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Otto is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Krum is trying to keep Otto in close.
Otto missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Otto throws a big elbow that misses.
Krum seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Krum looking for a sweep. Not yet Krum, not yet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Otto wants to pass the guard but Krum is keeping the position.

Otto cracks Krum with a solid left hand.
Otto distracts Krum with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Otto working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Viktor Krum just wasn't active enough.
Krum looks to score with a jab to the body but Otto is just out of range.

A big left from Krum misses.
Otto misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Krum is looking to clinch but Otto is avoiding it.
Otto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Krum wants to clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Otto closes the distance and clinches up with Krum, looking for a takedown. Otto pushes Krum against the cage but Krum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trip Otto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Otto is pressing down on Krum's thigh, looking to free his foot. Krum is holding on for now.
Krum wants to control but Otto is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Otto thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Krum keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Krum is looking for a sweep. Otto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Otto is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Krum!
Otto can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Krum is looking to escape.
Trip Otto is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Krum is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Trip Otto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Otto winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
