The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Rocco Falco has been cut.

Falco manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Brown on his heels. He'll look to pass Brown's guard now, I'm sure.

Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Falco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Falco thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Falco drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Falco off! Falco jumps back into Brown's guard.

Falco drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!

Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Falco is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Brown tries to score with some ground and pound. Falco controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Brown throws a strike aimed at the side of Falco's head but Falco avoids it well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brown has hold of Falco's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Falco tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Brown cranks the arm and Falco screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Falco, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
