Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gage Coulter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons takes a kick to the side of the head.
Coulter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Simmons but Simmons pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Simmons just misses with a punch to the body.
Simmons rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Coulter counters with a nice low kick that buckles Simmons's knee momentarily.
Coulter takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Simmons scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Coulter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Coulter decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Simmons throws a poor cross that misses
and Coulter counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Coulter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Simmons misses with a two punch combination.
Coulter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Simmons is breathing heavily.
Coulter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Roger Simmons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gage Coulter.
Coulter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Simmons tries to avoid it but Coulter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Simmons to the ground. Simmons escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Simmons darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Simmons looks to land a left hand but Coulter moved out of range nicely.
Coulter fails with a takedown attempt.
Simmons lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Coulter backs up against the cage.
Coulter doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The crowd cheers as Simmons lands an impressive looking overhand right. Coulter doesn't seem phased though.
Coulter avoids the body shot from Simmons.
Coulter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Simmons sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Coulter somewhat.

Simmons connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Coulter is looking to clinch but Simmons is avoiding it.
Coulter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Simmons.
Simmons tries to bum rush Coulter with a series of wild strikes but Coulter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Simmons connects with a good right hand that stumbles Coulter. Coulter circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Simmons fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Coulter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Coulter is looking to clinch.
Simmons swings for the body but Coulter moves out of range.
Coulter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Coulter shoots in for a takedown but Simmons shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Simmons throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Roger Simmons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Simmons jabs Coulter to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Coulter tries to clinch but Simmons is having none of it.
Simmons fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Coulter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gage Coulter dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Simmons paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Simmons lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Coulter gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Coulter is rocked!
Simmons goes for a small jab and connects. Now Simmons goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Coulter stumbles back but Simmons runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Coulter to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Coulter will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
