The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greenleaf throws a leg kick
letting Perunovic counter with a right hand.
It looks like Frank Greenleaf has been cut.
Perunovic defending well as Greenleaf loads up on a big left hand.
Perunovic lands with a kick to the temple. Greenleaf shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Perunovic lands a nice looking body kick.
Perunovic moves into range and connects with a jab.
Perunovic with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Greenleaf walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Frank Greenleaf's cut is getting worse.
No luck for Greenleaf with that takedown attempt.
Perunovic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Greenleaf.
A head kick from Perunovic lands but Greenleaf takes it in his stride.
Greenleaf throws a leg kick that is checked
and Perunovic counters with a solid body kick.
Perunovic scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Perunovic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Whack! Perunovic lands a heavy head kick that drops Greenleaf. The ref tackles Perunovic to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Greenleaf was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Vladan Perunovic!
In his post fight interview, Vladan Perunovic started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
