PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Cadge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dingo Monster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cadge comes to the cage accompanied by Jaws of Life. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Monster tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Monster blocks a low kick nicely.
Monster walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cadge checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cadge has a couple of punches blocked by Monster.
Cadge is trying to force a seperation but Monster has the dominant position.

Cadge is looking to break free of the clinch but Monster has double underhooks.
Monster with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Monster wants the takedown. Cadge is fighting it off but Monster persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cadge's guard against the cage.

Monster wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cadge, who protects the arm well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cadge manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Monster manages to get himself to full guard.

Cadge wants to control but Monster is keeping busy and won't allow it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Monster tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cadge knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dingo Monster will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Monster. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Monster misses with a knee to the head.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
