Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stan Reijkard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muhammed Lawal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawal moves into range and connects with a jab.
Reijkard throws a lazy uppercut
and Lawal counters with a straight right hand.
Lawal lands with an overhand left.
Lawal connects with a single shot there.
Reijkard misses with a right hand
and Lawal counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Reijkard attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Lawal shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Lawal looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reijkard with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Reijkard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lawal is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Reijkard is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lawal has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Reijkard is working for a guillotine from mount but Lawal frees his head quite easily.
Reijkard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lawal has left one of his arms exposed and Reijkard doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Lawal screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
