Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathan Hughes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kirk Ammo!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes throws a leg kick that is checked
and Ammo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hughes takes a knee right on the jaw!
Ammo misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hughes.
Ammo slows down the pace here.
Ammo pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Ammo missing with knees to the body.
Ammo breaks from the clinch.
Ammo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hughes can pounce on him.
Hughes misses with a low kick.
Hughes is looking to chop away at Ammo's legs.
Hughes tries a head kick but it misses.
Ammo blocks a head kick by Hughes.
Ammo closes the distance and pushes Hughes back into the cage.
Ammo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hughes up against the cage.

Ammo blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Ammo creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hughes's defenses.
Ammo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
