Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ljuti Hrcak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Paixao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paixao has chosen Vicious Traditions as his entrance music. Ljuti Hrcak has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ljuti Hrcak!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Paixao!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paixao scores with a nice body kick.
Hrcak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Paixao manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hrcak tries to close the distance and clinch but Paixao swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hrcak throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Paixao.
Hrcak takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Hrcak doesn't manage to clinch there - Paixao circles away.
Hrcak moves in looking to clinch but Paixao pushes him off.
Hrcak takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hrcak falls off balance throwing a combination
and Paixao counters with a good, hard body kick but Hrcak shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Paixao tries to close the distance and clinch but Hrcak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Paixao lands a left and a right that send Hrcak crashing to the mat, dazed. Paixao thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hrcak's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hrcak slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hrcak cracks Paixao with a solid left hand.
Hrcak works over Paixao with some ground and pound from guard.
Hrcak is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hrcak throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hrcak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Paixao looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hrcak is one step ahead there.
Hrcak not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close round but Victor Paixao will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hrcak walks forward, straight into a front kick from Paixao.
Hrcak takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Hrcak tries to move into range but Paixao moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Hrcak has closed the distance and engaged Paixao in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hrcak fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Paixao breaks from the clinch.
Paixao scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Paixao throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hrcak stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hrcak swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hrcak is looking to clinch.
Paixao feints and then cracks Hrcak's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hrcak down.
Victor Paixao is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Paixao throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hrcak.
A telegraphed right hand from Hrcak misses the target.
Victor Paixao seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Paixao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hrcak moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Paixao avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Paixao lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Paixao is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Paixao can't keep his opponent in guard - Hrcak advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Hrcak is stalling here. Paixao is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hrcak seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Paixao has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

After the fight, Ljuti Hrcak was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
