Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Izanagami Kami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mickey Mouse is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Izanagami Kami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mickey Mouse!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kami closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kami is working for a kimura but Mouse is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kami is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mouse sees it coming and defends easily.
Mouse moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kami postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mouse is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kami, into his guard.

Kami working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mouse doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mouse manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kami is looking for a triangle but Mouse pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kami is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kami is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mouse defends well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mouse got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kami has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mouse has managed to get both his arms back between Kami's legs - danger averted.

Kami looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mouse connects with a couple of short punches.
Kami can't keep his opponent in guard - Mouse advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mouse lands strikes from half guard.
Mouse prevents Kami from improving his position.

Kami is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mouse scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mouse uses his free foot to push down on Kami's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kami.
Kami is looking to improve his position but Mouse isn't that keen on the idea.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mouse has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kami's face.

Kami is rocked!
Mouse lands a big elbow - Kami is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Kami is forced to tap out!
