Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rankka Ankka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankka comes to the cage accompanied by Milk - The Knife Song. Maya has chosen Spitfire as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maya shoots in and drives through. Ankka sprawls well.

Maya changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ankka tries to avoid it but Maya manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ankka to the ground. Ankka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ankka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maya keeps working.
Maya avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ankka.
Maya has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ankka is working away from the top position though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Maya is staying active underneath Ankka, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Maya is pressing down on Ankka's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Ankka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maya swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Maya's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ankka connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Maya scrambles back to his feet.
