The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Slayter misses.
Slayter lands a nice leg kick that just misses Moriz's sensitive parts.
Slayter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moriz circles away quickly and effectively.
Slayter moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Slayter scores with a one two! Moriz had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Moriz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Slayter - the referee stops the clock and Moriz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Slayter. Moriz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nice uppercut lands for Slayter. That snapped Moriz's head back.

It looks like Jack Slayter has been cut.
Moriz has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Slayter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Moriz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Well Slayter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
