The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wickline with a jab.
Wickline throws a shot from downtown. Kukkonen moves away and avoids it.
Wickline shoots in but no luck this time.
Wickline misses with an uppercut. Kukkonen saw that one coming.
Kukkonen looks to land a combination but Wickline avoids it well.
Wickline fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Kukkonen gets a clinch.
Kukkonen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kukkonen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kukkonen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wickline has him pressed against the cage.

Kukkonen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kukkonen getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Wickline will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
