Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mitsuharu Misawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Perry!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Misawa tries to clinch up.
Misawa wants to clinch up but Perry keeps it at a distance.
The fighters circling - Perry throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Perry tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Misawa was well out of range. Poor timing from Perry.
A jab lands there for Perry.
Chuck Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perry fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Misawa is out of range.

Perry closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Misawa quickly recovers to half guard.
Misawa wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Misawa tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Perry manages to move to mount!
Perry mounts Misawa! Really nice guard pass there!
Misawa is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Perry trying to control but he's not successful this time.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Misawa has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Perry is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Misawa with him. Misawa is trying to defend but Perry has an arm under the chin now! Misawa grimaces and is forced to tap out!
