Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Filipo Lakopa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Sandford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lakopa comes to the cage accompanied by Armaggedon. Sandford is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Two steps from hell-Heart of courage. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Lakopa.
Lakopa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sandford sprawls well. Sandford wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lakopa gets slowly back to his feet.
Lakopa swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Sandford counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sandford ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sandford takes a kick to the side of the head.
Sandford throws a nice looking combination but Lakopa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lakopa shoots for a double leg takedown but Sandford sprawls well. He's pushed Lakopa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lakopa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sandford throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Filipo Lakopa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sandford slaps away a takedown attempt from Lakopa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Filipo Lakopa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sandford works Lakopa's body with a nice hook.
Lakopa is breathing heavily.

Lakopa shoots in looking for a takedown. Sandford tries to sprawl out of it but Lakopa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sandford manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sandford scores with a one two! Lakopa had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Sandford sends Lakopa crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sandford is motioning to the referee to let Lakopa up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sandford stuffs the takedown attempt from Lakopa. Lakopa gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Lakopa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sandford weaves into range and cracks Lakopa right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Lakopa goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Sandford is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
