Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker has chosen Machine Gun - Commodores as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Todd Parker!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a low kick but Parker avoids it.
Parker takes one on the button.
Parker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Parker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
No joy there for Parker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Parker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Parker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
Parker lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gracie will feel that in the morning.
Parker misses with a low kick.
Gracie blocks a jab.
Parker chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gracie can pounce on him.
Parker lands a right hook to the body.
Gracie looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Parker pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Parker for as long as he can get away with.

Parker throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Parker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Todd Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Ralph Gracie will probably get the nod.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Parker tries to bench press Gracie off him but Gracie keeps the position.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Parker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Gracie creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Parker's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Parker drops to his knees and Gracie pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
