Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracy comes to the cage accompanied by Hall Of Fame. Lucas has chosen Luxuria - Só fico e Tchau as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracy lands in his opponent's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gracy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Lucas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Gracy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gracy decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Lucas is trying to escape the position but Gracy is controlling the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracy decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Gracy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lucas wants to sweep but Gracy has passed to side control!

Gracy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gracy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gracy throws a sloppy head kick and Lucas moves out of range easily.
