Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Snatch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Italo Hugo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Phil Snatch has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hugo drives through with a takedown into Snatch's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hugo throws a big elbow that misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snatch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Hugo wants to pass the guard but Snatch is keeping the position.
Snatch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hugo throws an elbow that misses. Snatch uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hugo's guard. Nice move by Snatch!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snatch in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Snatch pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hugo is keeping the position for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hugo pulls Snatch in to control the position.

Hugo has a closed guard, preventing Snatch from standing up.
Snatch tries to free his leg and advance position but Hugo is retaining full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hugo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hugo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hugo tries for a kimura but Snatch is defending well.
Check out the look on Hugo's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Snatch is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hugo has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Hugo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Snatch, who protects the arm well.

Hugo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Snatch has escaped the position, nice work there.

Hugo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Snatch looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hugo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Snatch is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hugo lets go of the hold and Snatch can pop his arm back in it's socket.
