Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier slaps away a takedown attempt from Emelianenko, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Frazier misses with a wild combination.
Emelianenko misses with a takedown
and Frazier counters with a left to the body.
Emelianenko moves into range and clinches up with Frazier.
Frazier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Frazier misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horrible takedown by Emelianenko or perhaps it was just good defense by Frazier which made him look bad.
Jerome Frazier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Emelianenko.

and Frazier counters with a left to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Frazier slips a jab and a cross from Emelianenko.

and Frazier counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Frazier drops Emelianenko with a beautiful combination! Emelianenko stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Frazier is looking for the KO!
Emelianenko is rocked!
It looks like Ivan Emelianenko has been cut.
Frazier misses with a few strikes there.
Emelianenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Frazier finish him?
Frazier darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Emelianenko's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Frazier before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jerome Frazier!
Jerome Frazier decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
