The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Diaz lands strikes from half guard.
Diaz scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Youngblood should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Diaz wants to control but Youngblood is keeping him busy.

Youngblood is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Diaz pulls his head out easily.
Diaz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Diaz pushes Youngblood off looking to stand but Youngblood dives back in and keeps control.
Youngblood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Diaz wants to sweep here but Youngblood controlling him for the moment.

Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Youngblood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Youngblood manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Diaz closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Youngblood's guard.
