Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali comes into a darkened arena with his song building. General Levy - Professional Ganja Smoker kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Conan Jones!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mohammed Ali!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ali pinned against the cage. Ali gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Ali sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ali connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ali fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Ali.
Jones is looking to clinch.

so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ali doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jones postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ali is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ali is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control.
Ali cracks Jones with a solid left hand.
Jones is trying to keep Ali in close.
Ali postures up and lands a big shot to Jones's brow.

Ali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones wants to improve his position but instead Ali has moved into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ali connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple.
Ali wants to pass to mount but Jones is defending the position.
Jones wants to get back to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ali thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.

Ali misses with a head shot. Jones uses the momentum to regain guard.
Ali wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ali lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ali lands a nice looking body shot.
Mohammed Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ali misses with a combination
and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No joy there for Ali, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mohammed Ali dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ali throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
Ali throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ali connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off.
Jones blocks the body kick.
Ali misses with a body shot.
Jones walks into a left hand.
Ali with a jab.
Ali lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ali thuds his right hand into Jones's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Jones is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ali loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ali's waist but Ali gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.

Jones rushes Ali and presses him up against the cage.

Ali is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Ali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ali throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range.
Ali throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ali misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Nice defenses there by Jones.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ali circles away.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ali swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conan Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
