Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sticky Ickky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sticky Ickky told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Beam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sticky Ickky!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ickky darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like Ickky is going to stand back up.
Beam slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ickky wants to control from the top but Beam keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sticky Ickky was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ickky takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ickky drives through with a takedown into Beam's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ickky trying to control the position from guard on top but Beam is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ickky stopping the sweep attempt from Beam.
Ickky throws a strike but Beam rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Beam is looking to stand up but Ickky won't let him.
Ickky tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ickky has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Beam is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ickky.
Beam has an Americana. Ickky didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Beam is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Beam hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jimmy Beam!
