Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Matusow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward comes to the cage accompanied by Break Stuff. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward misses with a takedown attempt
and Matusow counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like Matusow might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Ward could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Matusow is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ward defends it well.
