The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hatari.

Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hatari, pushing him back against the cage.

Hatari shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hatari closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Hatari pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hatari was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hatari works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hatari is fighting off a takedown attempt but Silva is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hatari to the mat. Hatari regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hatari is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Silva can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
