Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennis Teller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Teller pushes him off.
Teller throws a shot to the body.
Teller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diaz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Teller fails with an attempt to clinch.
Teller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Teller darts in and clinches Diaz up against the cage.
Teller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A frustrated look appears on Teller's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Diaz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Diaz is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Teller decides to pull guard.
Diaz stops Teller from standing up.

Diaz stands up and waves to Teller to follow him.

Diaz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Teller, pushing him back against the cage.
Diaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Teller walks away with a smile on his face. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dennis Teller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Diaz.
Horrible takedown by Teller or perhaps it was just good defense by Diaz which made him look bad.
Diaz looks to clinch
and Teller counters with a straight right hand.
Teller avoids the head kick by Diaz.
Diaz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Teller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diaz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Teller shoots in and gets a takedown into Diaz's guard.

Teller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Teller is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Diaz keeping moving, preventing Teller from controlling successfully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dennis Teller wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Teller darts in and clinches Diaz up against the cage.
Teller blocking some punches.
Teller is trying to break the clinch but Diaz has him pressed against the cage.

Diaz is trying to drag Teller to the mat but Teller just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Diaz is looking to take this one to the mat.

Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Diaz misses with a two punch combination.
Diaz doesn't manage to clinch there - Teller circles away.
Diaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Diaz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Teller sprawls well. Teller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet.

Diaz is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Teller.
Teller fails with a takedown attempt.
Teller shoots in but no luck this time.
Teller keeps the fight on the outside.
Teller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Diaz.
Diaz looks winded!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No joy there for Teller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diaz fails with the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Teller slaps away a takedown attempt from Diaz, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Teller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Teller lands in his opponent's guard.
Diaz trying to keep a closed guard but Teller is proving a slippery customer.
Teller tries to stand but Diaz is controlling from the bottom.
Teller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Teller postures up.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Dennis Teller has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
An inside leg kick from Teller misses.
Diaz tries to clinch there but Teller circles away.

Diaz jumps into guard, dragging Teller to the mat.
Teller prevents Diaz from getting back to his feet.

Diaz throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Teller escapes and throws Diaz's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Teller stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Diaz is breathing heavily.

Diaz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Teller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dennis Teller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Diaz blocks a low kick nicely.

Teller drives through and clinches with Diaz against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Teller is pressed up against the cage. Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Teller down to the mat. Teller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Teller fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Diaz is out of range.
Teller circles away from the clinch attempt.
Teller attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Teller pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Diaz back to the cage. Teller follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Diaz is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Diaz tries for a takedown but Teller manages to get underhooks.
Diaz is trying to force a seperation but Teller has the dominant position.
Teller wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Diaz keeps control of Teller as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Diaz looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Teller working some nice short punches in the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Teller is looking to break free of the clinch but Diaz has double underhooks.

Teller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Teller as he avoids it easily.

Teller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diaz tries to avoid it but Teller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diaz to the ground. Diaz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Teller lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Diaz backs up against the cage.

Teller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Diaz defends it nicely.

Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Teller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Teller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Diaz fails to pull guard.

Well Teller has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
