The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowedder avoids a kick to the body.
Loncaric changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rowedder tries to avoid it but Loncaric manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rowedder to the ground. Rowedder escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Loncaric throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Zeljko Loncaric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rowedder closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
