The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lewis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lawson tries for a takedown but Lewis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lawson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lewis.
Lawson closes the distance and clinches up with Lewis, looking for a takedown. Lawson pushes Lewis against the cage but Lewis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lawson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lewis tries to avoid it but Lawson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lewis to the ground. Lewis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
