The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wojarski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martin tries to avoid it but Wojarski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martin to the ground. Martin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wojarski cracks Martin with a good jab.
Wojarski looks to land a left hand but Martin moved out of range nicely.
Martin throws the left hand but Wojarski avoids the punch easily.
Michal Wojarski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wojarski takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wojarski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Martin was well out of range. Poor timing from Wojarski.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Martin connects with a nice short shot to Wojarski's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Martin cracks Wojarski with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Dean Martin was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
