Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassius Boran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes to the cage accompanied by Lights Out. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Man wants it to stay on the feet.
Man lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Boran misses with a low kick.
Boran shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Man pinned against the cage. Man gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Man throws a right hand that Boran ducks under and follows up with a left that Boran also avoids with ease.
Man scores with a jab. Boran acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Man connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Boran's hands.
Boran slips a jab and a cross from Man.
Man throws a lazy right hand but Boran sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Man throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boran stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A decent looking cross lands there for Man.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A telegraphed right hand from Boran misses the target.
A slow jab from Boran misses its intended target.

Boran changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Man looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Man is trying to get back to half guard.
Boran tries to advance position but instead Man slips a leg back in to half guard.

Man wants to improve his position but Boran is controlling well.
Boran is trying to control the action in half guard but Man is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Boran is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Man looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Man working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Boran.
Boran passes into half guard.
Boran not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Man is controlling Boran's trapped leg to prevent Boran from advancing to side control.
Boran trying to control from half guard but Man is working away.
Still in half guard, Boran seems content to control.
Boran is trying to control. Man wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cassius Boran.

and Man counters with a nice uppercut.
Boran on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boran is defended easily by Man.
Ice Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cassius Boran.
Boran moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Man waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boran.
Man misses with a looping left.
Boran takes one to the side of the head.
Man swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Boran.
Man blocks a low kick nicely.

Boran walks into a straight right hand from Man.
Boran avoids the body shot from Man.
Cassius Boran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man scores with a sloppy right hand. Boran should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boran doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Boran uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Man.

Man throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

No luck for Boran with that takedown attempt.
Man lands with a good body shot.
Man throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boran.
Boran slips a jab from Man.
Boran misses with a low kick.
Boran takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Man fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ice Man is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Man lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boran circles away quickly and effectively.
Boran tries for a takedown but Man sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Man scores with a one two! Boran had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Boran shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Man jabs at Boran's body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Boran on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Boran takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Boran on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Man throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boran on the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Boran or perhaps it was just good defense by Man which made him look bad.

Man throws a series of strikes that have Boran backpedaling.

Man connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boran momentarily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Man, as that shot connected.

Boran is rocked!

A big right followed by a crushing left from Man knocks Boran out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
